PSA: I’m a makeup junkie. As someone who keeps up with the newest releases, beauty news, and industry conversations, I live and breathe for the beauty industry. Despite having such a large makeup collection, I make an effort to work through what I own.
I am grateful for the opportunity to try so many different formulas from a wide variety of brands. Within this Makeup Collection Series, I am showcasing and ranking all the items in my collection, by category.
In today’s post, I will be discussing my Liquid Lipstick Collection Ranking. As with all posts in this series, I’ll include swatches of each lippie in my collection, as well as prices, and mini-reviews. Please keep reading to see where each hippie ranks within my liquid lipstick collection ranking.

Liquid Lipstick Collection & Ranking
8 | Melt Cosmetics Liquid Set Lipstick – Circuit
The only reason my Melt Cosmetics Circuit Liquid Set Lipstick is ranked so low is due to the vibrant blue color. Although the color makes me feel like a badass when I wear it, I don’t reach for it that often.
7 | ColourPop – Mini Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Star Crossed ($7.00 USD, CF)
The ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick has grown on me over the years. The color, Star Crossed, is a vibrant berry red color.

5 | Tarte – Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint in Birthday Suit Deluxe Mini
I enjoy my Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint because of how Birthday Suit looks on my lips. It is a staple neutral color that is flattering and long-lasting. Plus, I appreciate that I own this in a mini size.
4 | Stila – Mini Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick – Patina ($10.00 USD. CF)
The Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in the cult-classic Patina is a lovely pinky-toned liquid lipstick that compliments a wide array of makeup looks without overpowering the face.
I was immediately impressed by the ColourPop Lux Liquid Lipsticks that were released within the Midnight Masquerade Collection in 2019. As a big Beauty in the Beast fan, I had to purchase the blush and lip kit that contained the shade Beast.
Beast is mid-tone pink nude lipstick with an ultra-comfortable formula that is similar to the Kylie Cosmetics Lip Blush formula. It is a lightweight formula that provides a diffused wash of colors on the lips.
Beast is a limited edition shade that is currently available on the ColourPop website. Read my full review of the Midnight Masquerade Palette collaboration with Disney here or click here to see where the Midnight Masquerade Blushes rank in my collection.
3 | Dose of Colors x Boxycharm Liquid Lipstick in Nude Mood ($18.00 USD, CF)
Believe it or not, I had not tried the Dose of Colors Liquid Lipstick formula until 2019 when I received a shade in my November Boxycharm. The formula dries down completely without sucking the life out of my lips.
After trying the Dose of Colors Liquid Lipstick formula, I definitely want to try more from the brand.
2 | Kylie Cosmetics – Lip Blush Liquid Lipstick in Bikini Bod & Boss Bay ($16.00 USD, CF)
Despite all of the naysayers, I stand by my opinion that the Kyle Cosmetics brand makes some beautiful, high-quality products. Unsurprisingly, Kylie’s lipsticks are some of the brand’s strongest offerings.
The Kylie Cosmetics Lip Blush Liquid Lipstick formula is a favorite of mine for days I want a barely-there lip color. I own the shades Bikini Bod & Boss Bay. I’d love to grab more from the lip blush line.
1 | Persona Cosmetics – Season One Matte Liquid Lipstick in Holy Grail & Phoenix ($16.00 USD, CF)
The Persona Matte Liquid Lipsticks in the shades Holy Grail and Phoenix are my two “holy grail” red. These liquid lippies are opaque, lightweight, non-drying, long-lasting, and classically beautiful.

Liquid Lipstick Swatches
I have not gotten a chance to test my Huda Beauty Liquid Lipstick set enough, so this liquid lipstick is not included within my liquid lipstick collection ranking. I will update my Liquid Lipstick Collection Ranking in the future.
Final Thoughts on My Liquid Lipstick Collection
I tend to shy away from liquid lipsticks because I have dry lips that are prone to cracking. That being said, I’ve been testing out a few more liquid formulas in recent years because there are more innovative and less drying formulas available in the market. Formula-wise, my liquid lipsticks need to be non-drying, but long-lasting… in particular, they need to apply well over a lip balm.
Color-wise, I tend to pick up nude and red shades, but I’d love to snag a few more vampy or brown-toned shades.

Disclaimer:Within my makeup collection series, I am not intending to brag about my beauty collection or to show off any wealth. I work hard to buy what I own. Much of what is in my collection has been purchased at a discount or given to me as a gift. Moreover, these items have been collected over the years.
