This year, I am attempting to pan an eyeshadow palette for the first time – the Master by Mario Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. Since it is roughly halfway through the year, I figured I should post an update of my progress. Please keep reading for my 2018 Pan that Palette Mid-Year Update.
Before the Start of my Pan That Palette 2018

At the start of the year, many of my shadows looked untouched, despite heavy usage – especially the matte shades which I could argue get the most consistent use since my go-to transition shades are Lula and Isabel.
In terms of pan, I had a small amount of pan on the shades Marina and 5th Ave – which are favorite shades for effortless makeup days.

Please pardon the slightly different color tint in this bottom photo. The color variance is caused by the lighting used for each photo. (Top photo was taken in natural light and the bottom photo was taken using artificial light.)
As you can see, comparing photos, I finally hit pan in the shade, Kim. Also, I expanded the pans in Marina and 5th Avenue. Hollywood and Paris have larger dents, too. I’ve decided that if only Bronx and Marina are left at the end of the year, I’ll declutter the palette and consider this palette finished because those colors are actually quite patchy.
What did you think of my progress on my Pan That Palette 2018 Update? Are you currently trying to finish any palettes this year? I’d love to know any tips or tricks – please let me know in the comments below.
