6 | Milani Cosmetics Conceal + Perfect Longwear Concealer – 125N Light Natural ($8.99, CF)
The Milani Cosmetics Conceal + Perfect Concealer* is an affordable, full-coverage concealer. However, this is ranked last in my collection simply due to the shade range, as well as the actual shade that I own.
This particular shade is too dark for brightening up my under eye area and erasing dark circles. Moreover, the concealer is actually darker than some of my foundations. However, this works well for spot concealing with some of my deeper foundation shades. See where the Milani Conceal + Perfect Foundation landed within my oily skin foundation ranking.
5 | Glossier Stretch Concealer – G10 ($18.00, CF)
I purchased the Glossier Stretch Concealer* at the Glossier Flagship store in NYC. This is a beautiful, natural-looking concealer. However, this concealer is more emollient than the other concealers on this list. For this reason, the concealer has to be set with powder. Otherwise, it will settle into fin lines.
Nevertheless, the Stretch Concealer is my go-to on natural, ‘no-makeup’ makeup days. In 2020, I’m trying to pan this pot concealer. Read this post for a Glossier brand review.
4 | KKW Liquid Concealer – 3 Fair Light ($18.00, CF)
The KKW Liquid Concealer is beautiful. Sadly, I just don’t think to reach for the KKW Concealer as often as I should. The shade is quite similar to another concealer that is ranked higher on this list. However, 3 Fair Light may be a smidge lighter. For this reason, I enjoy pairing this with darker concealers to add a brightening effect. In fact, my dark circles look non-existent with this ultra brightening concealer.

3 | Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer – Brightener & 120N ($9.99, CF)
The Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer is not only one of my most repurchased complexion products, but it is actually one of the best-selling concealers of all time in the United States. At this point, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve repurchased the Nude & Brightener shades.
Of all the concealers on this list, the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer has one of the most lightweight textures. The coverage is medium to buildable. However, this concealer needs to be set with powder to avoid settling into fine lines.
2 | Maybelline Fit Me Concealer – Fair ($8.29)
The Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is a classic concealer at the drugstore for good reason. Although less full coverage than the other concealers included in this list, the Fit Me Concealer provides is a light-to-medium coverage in a lightweight, creamy formula. In fact, this concealer is a well-known dupe for the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.
This concealer hides dark circles in a very natural way. However, it won’t hide under eye darkness completely.
1 | Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer – Marshmallow ($29.00, CF)
I hate how much I love the Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer. The Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer is full coverage without looking heavy. My face looks instantly brighter wherever I apply it. In terms of hiding imperfections and covering dark circles, this concealer is the best on this list.
Final Thoughts after Ranking Dark Circle Covering Concealers
After writing today’s post ranking dark circle covering concealers, I was reminded of how many classic concealers I’ve missed as I’ve started to try new, high end formulas. At the end of the day, good concealers can be found at the drugstore so it is up to your personal preference to find a brand and formula that works for you.
Also, there is one main tip that you can use to hide the appearance of dark circles using a light or medium coverage concealer. Purchase a concealer that is 1-2 shades lighter than your natural complexion.
In fact, working with a lighter color concealer instantly lifts and brightens the under eye area. Also, brighter concealers can be used to sculpt the face. That being said, be careful not to get a shade that is too light for you. Concealers that are too light for you, can age you or look unnatural.
