6 | Milani Cosmetics Conceal + Perfect Longwear Concealer – 125N Light Natural ($8.99, CF)
The Milani Cosmetics Conceal + Perfect Concealer* is an affordable, full-coverage concealer. However, this is ranked last in my collection simply due to the shade range, as well as the actual shade that I own.
This particular shade is too dark for brightening up my under eye area and erasing dark circles. Moreover, the concealer is actually darker than some of my foundations. However, this works well for spot concealing with some of my deeper foundation shades. See where the Milani Conceal + Perfect Foundation landed within my oily skin foundation ranking.
5 | Glossier Stretch Concealer – G10 ($18.00, CF)
I purchased the Glossier Stretch Concealer* at the Glossier Flagship store in NYC. This is a beautiful, natural-looking concealer. However, this concealer is more emollient than the other concealers on this list. For this reason, the concealer has to be set with powder. Otherwise, it will settle into fin lines.
Nevertheless, the Stretch Concealer is my go-to on natural, ‘no-makeup’ makeup days. In 2020, I’m trying to pan this pot concealer. Read this post for a Glossier brand review.
4 | KKW Liquid Concealer – 3 Fair Light ($18.00, CF)
The KKW Liquid Concealer is beautiful. Sadly, I just don’t think to reach for the KKW Concealer as often as I should. The shade is quite similar to another concealer that is ranked higher on this list. However, 3 Fair Light may be a smidge lighter. For this reason, I enjoy pairing this with darker concealers to add a brightening effect. In fact, my dark circles look non-existent with this ultra brightening concealer.

3 | Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer – Brightener & 120N ($9.99, CF)
The Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer is not only one of my most repurchased complexion products, but it is actually one of the best-selling concealers of all time in the United States. At this point, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve repurchased the Nude & Brightener shades.
Of all the concealers on this list, the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer has one of the most lightweight textures. The coverage is medium to buildable. However, this concealer needs to be set with powder to avoid settling into fine lines.
2 | Maybelline Fit Me Concealer – Fair ($8.29)
The Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is a classic concealer at the drugstore for good reason. Although less full coverage than the other concealers included in this list, the Fit Me Concealer provides is a light-to-medium coverage in a lightweight, creamy formula. In fact, this concealer is a well-known dupe for the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.
This concealer hides dark circles in a very natural way. However, it won’t hide under eye darkness completely.
1 | Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer – Marshmallow ($29.00, CF)
I hate how much I love the Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer. The Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer is full coverage without looking heavy. My face looks instantly brighter wherever I apply it. In terms of hiding imperfections and covering dark circles, this concealer is the best on this list.
Final Thoughts after Ranking Dark Circle Covering Concealers
After writing today’s post ranking dark circle covering concealers, I was reminded of how many classic concealers I’ve missed as I’ve started to try new, high end formulas. At the end of the day, good concealers can be found at the drugstore so it is up to your personal preference to find a brand and formula that works for you.
Also, there is one main tip that you can use to hide the appearance of dark circles using a light or medium coverage concealer. Purchase a concealer that is 1-2 shades lighter than your natural complexion.
In fact, working with a lighter color concealer instantly lifts and brightens the under eye area. Also, brighter concealers can be used to sculpt the face. That being said, be careful not to get a shade that is too light for you. Concealers that are too light for you, can age you or look unnatural.

Concealer is something I’ve not tried loads of but I can see why people have an obsession with it. I’ve just ordered the glossier concealer and really interested in the born this way too, I love using concealer as foundation too as I need less of it for the same amount of coverage. You’re definitely inspiring me to want to try the born this way because it sounds perfect to what I want in my life. I can’t wait for the rest of the series and I’m absolutely loving it so far!

ah girl, you have perfect, radiant skin so you don’t need concealer lol!! Although I think I remember you ordered the Glossier Stretch concealer, which I do think you’ll enjoy based on how you rock that perfect, fresh faced skin look!
After uni, concealer became my BFF lmao so I’ve been trying it way more now. I love that there are so many super affordable concealers that work really well!! The Born This Way is pricey… but you get SO much product and it really is amazing coverage!
You’re too kind to me girl, I’ve been lacking in sleep so I NEED the concealer now haha. I love the glossier skin look so I’m really excited for it to arrive. I think when my beauty no buy is over in May I’ll treat myself to a Born This Way concealer😍
Noiceee, I hope the Revlon candid concealer isn’t the culprit because it looks so good and i really want to try it!
I ended up doing more testing and I can say with confidence that it was NOT the culprit!! So I will be updating this post and adding the Revlon concealer in… spoiler though: I do LOVE the finish.
NOICE! okay gonna go check the update!
Great list I really like the Maybelline fit me line
Me too – it is a classic for such a good reason! 😀
My concealer collection is also my smallest collection I have, I’m using 2 Kylie Cosmetics ones (two different shades obviously) and the Urban Decay Stay Naked. But I do have the Tarte Shape Tape concealer ready in my drawer, just as a Kylie Cosmetics concealer replacement and a Morphe concealer just because I was curious how that one would perform lol. However, I still want to try the Maybelline Fit Me concealer! Also I had a sample of the Too Faced concealer and even though I liked how it looked on my skin, it felt kinda thick on my skin so I’m not fully sure if I want to buy a full size version.
Even though my concealer collection is on the small side, I still need to really work through it this year lol! I’ve never tried the Kylie Concealers but I’ve heard good things.
Aw sad that you don’t like the Born This Way Concealer – it didn’t feel heavy to me but it is def super full coverage!
How did you like the Morphe concealer? Lol
I haven’t tried the Morphe one yet lol
Oops already send my reaction when I wasn’t finished lol.
But I haven’t tried the Morphe one yet and I might even going to sell it since I’m not tempted to try it anymore 🤭
I love the two Maybelline concealers you listed I used them all the time before I switched to vegan/cruelty free products. Honestly, for drugstore products they have insane coverage and are such great quality!
Have you tried the Elf camo concealer? I know it is CF (not sure about Vegan) but it’s supposed to be dope!
It’s vegan and it’s the one I’m using at the moment- it is amazing!
I’ve heard such good things about the Too Faced concealer, it’s been on my radar for a while and I think when my current concealers run out, I’ll have to pick it up! My fave is the Tarte Shape Tape and I feel like I have to have it in my collection???
so the Too Faced Born This Way is most often compared to the Tarte Shape Tape! So I’d probably like Shape Tape and you’d prob like the Born This Way lol!
The age rewind concealer is my absolute ride or die concealer, I don’t even want to know how many I have purchased over the years, it just never fails me! After buying some disappointing expensive high end concealers, I vowed never again to stray away from something so affordable that works so well for me! Although now I am very intrigued to try out that Too Faced born this way concealer…..
Ugh the Age Rewind is SO good… and so is the Fit Me! I really want to try more products at the drugstore bc there are so many amazing gems!!
Glossier Stretch ALL THE WAY! I absolutley love it. And being in my 30s its aweosme because it doesnt settle into anything. Or make your undereyes look worse. I love this product.
