YouTube famous brand, Ofra Cosmetics, is well known for its comfortable liquid lipsticks and blinding highlighters. Despite the brand’s online fame, I haven’t found many reviews from Influencers who aren’t in some way affiliated with the brand in some way (in terms of receiving free PR, product collaborations, or affiliate codes), but who doesn’t want to glow?
Given the higher price tag for Ofra’s products, I’ve always been afraid to take the plunge and purchase one of the brand’s hyped products. However, earlier this year, I took the plunge to purchase a travel set of mini products (including a Setting Spray, Liquid Lipstick, and Highlighter).
Please keep reading to see if the Ofra Highlighters are worth their $35.00 price tag.
What is Ofra Cosmetics all about?
Founded by Ofra and David Gaito in 1994, OFRA Cosmetics aims to provide wearers with professional quality makeup and skincare. Although OFRA sells a wide range of products, they are most well-known for their blinding highlighters and high-quality liquid lipsticks. Click here to read more about Ofra’s brand story.
Ofra Pillow Talk Highlighter
Ofra Cosmetics Pillow Talk Highlighter Claims
The Pillow Talk Highlighter promises to provide wearers with a plush, pearl pigment icy pink glow that captures light in “all the right spots.” The pearls in the formula are meant to provide a highly luminous glow to the face to provide “unparalleled” pigment and “showstopping” sheen.
Ofra Cosmetics Pillow Talk Packaging & Price
The Ofra Highlighters come in textured godet pans in a chunky white compact. I love how the compacts are magnetic and refillable because buying a single godet refill is a much more sustainable option than purchasing an entirely new highlighter. Each compact comes with a small mirror.
As always, swatches are not the perfect indicator of how a beauty product performs. However, swatches can provide a clue as to how a product may perform on the face, in terms of both pigmentation and ability to blend. The below swatch shows how the Pillow Talk Highlighter performs when applied with a finger, dense brush, and fluffy brush.
Friends, if you AREN’T looking to be tempted to buy a new highlighter, then this is your cue to stop reading. The Ofra Pillow Talk Highlighter is S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G. It provides a high-shine, almost blinding glow without looking artificial or overly metallic.
As with most highlighters, this highlighter looks very different depending on how it is applied. For a soft, diffused look, apply Pillow Talk with a fluffy highlighter brush. For a concentrated, nearly metallic sheen, use your fingers. For the most blinding glow, use a denser highlighter brush OR apply multiple layers of this highlight.
In addition to wearing this like a traditional highlighter, I’ve enjoyed wearing this as an inner corner highlighter with my eyeshadow.
From a wear-time perspective, I was gobsmacked that this highlighter retained its blinding glow without fading or transferring on my oily skin for over 12 hours! Since discovering the Pillow Talk Highlighter, this has been my go-to cool-toned highlighter.

Final Thoughts on the Ofra Cosmetics Pillow Talk Highlighter
Although I am cautious to recommend expensive products to my readers, I feel completely confident in recommending the Pillow Talk Highlighter to anyone looking to “Glow to the Gods.” Pillow Talk is the most high-shine highlighter I’ve ever owned and provides a beautiful glow without looking too metallic or emphasizing texture on my skin. I’m looking forward to trying more highlighters from this line.
P.S. I have to commend Ofra for selling (and promoting) their singular highlighter pans, as this is not only more economical but it is more sustainable, too. Also, if you are curious to try Ofra Highlighters but need more of a discount, wait until they’re having a sale or find and apply a discount code to your purchase!
