As someone with acne, dark circles, and fine lines, I am always looking for concealers that will cover my imperfections & brighten my face. But not all concealers are made equal.

Concealer Collection Ranking
My concealer collection ranking was far easier than I thought it would be. This ranking was easier because this is one of my smallest makeup categories.
6 | Glossier Stretch Concealer – G10 (CF, $18.00 USD)
I purchased the Glossier Stretch Concealer at the Glossier Flagship store in NYC. This is a beautiful, natural-looking concealer. However, this concealer is a little more emollient. The Stretch Concealer shines on natural makeup days.
5 | KKW Liquid Concealer – 3 Fair Light (CF, $18.00 USD)
The KKW Liquid Concealer is a beautiful liquid concealer. Sadly, I never think to reach for the KKW Concealer, because there are other concealers in my collection that I love just a little bit more. Be aware, this does oxidize slightly.
4 | Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer – Brightener & 120N ($9.99 USD each)
The Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer has been a beloved concealer in my collection for years. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve repurchased the Nude & Brightener shades. Although this concealer is a classic, it settles into the fine lines under my eyes.
*Note: I don’t own the Age Rewind concealer right now, but this is a well-known concealer that I wanted to include for comparison.
3 | Milani Cosmetics Conceal + Perfect Longwear Concealer – 125N Light Natural (CF, $8.99 USD) The Milani Cosmetics Conceal + Perfect Concealer is an affordable, full-coverage concealer. I enjoy reaching for the Milani Concealer on days when I’m craving a high coverage look. My biggest issue with this concealer is the odd shade range.
2 | Maybelline Fit Me Concealer – Fair ($8.29 USD) The Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is an OG concealer at the drugstore. However, the Fit Me concealer is a more recent find for me. The Fit Me Concealer is a creamy, medium coverage concealer. It is a well known dupe for the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.
1 | Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer – Marshmallow (CF, $29.00 USD)
I hate how much I love the Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer. The Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer is full coverage without looking heavy. My face looks instantly brighter wherever I apply it. I actually purchased ta darker shade for cream contouring, too.
*I did not include the Revlon Candid Concealer in my concealer collection ranking. The Candid Concealer it is purgatory. I loved the natural finish that this concealer provided, but I am testing whether or not this caused acne.
Final Thoughts on My Concealer Collection Ranking
Although my concealer collection is one of the smallest categories in my beauty inventory, it is far larger than was in previous years. 2019 was my year to try new concealer formulas.
Despite trying many new concealers, my preferences remain the same. If it wasn’t apparent from my concealer collection ranking, I prefer medium-to-full coverage concealers that add brightness to the face. My concealers need to mask the appearance of dark circles.
Moving forward, I’d love to have three concealers in my collection in a variety of shades and coverage levels.
Disclaimer: I am in not intending to brag about my collection or to show off wealth. I work hard to buy what I own. So much of what is in my collection has been purchased at a discount or given to me as a gift.
