As a beauty addict, I never need an excuse to shop. As a beauty addict with talented beauty blogging friends, I’m constantly inspired to try new goodies.
Today’s post is all about, A Blogger Made Me Buy It. Please keep reading for a mini list of beauty products that a blogger influenced me to buy.
A Blogger Made Me Buy It
Kate @ Kate Days a Week | Vichy – Mineral 89 Hyaluronic Acid + 15 Mineral-Rich Water
When I read Kate’s review of the Vichy Mineral 89 Hyaluronic Acid I knew that I needed to try this product. I love using hydrating serums as a mixing medium when applying other exfoliating facial serums.
When my B-Hydra Serum finally ran out, I decided to pick up the Vichy serum at the drugstore. I enjoyed using this serum in conjunction with other exfoliating and brightening serums.
Simone @ Beautymone | Kylie Cosmetics – Kybrows Brow Pomade in Medium Brown
If you’re ever looking for honest thoughts on a Kylie Cosmetics or KKW release, Simone is definitely the person to ask. She has tried so many releases from the two Kardashian-Jenner brands.
The ColourPop Main Squeeze Palette is a palette I purchased after seeing it pop up on her IG feed. When the Main Squeeze Eyeshadow Palette first launched, I had very little interest in it, but I’ve clearly had a big change of heart after seeing it featured on her page!
Being a part of the beauty blogger community on WordPress, Twitter, and Instagram has been so fun. It gives me a chance to build friendships with other beauty-obsessed individuals who love to talk about makeup.
Although I love finding new products through my favorite influencers on Instagram and YouTube, being inspired to try new products that a blogger recommended feels entirely different. In many ways, it feels like I’m buying a product that a friend IRL recommended. Moreover, I love supporting other small content creators like myself. In many cases, I’m glad a beauty blogger made me buy it.
Disclaimer: “A blogger made me buy it” is meant to be lighthearted and fun. Please know, we are all responsible for our own shopping behaviors and purchases. No brand, influencer, or blogger makes us buy something, but they can influence our interest in buying something.
