The Loveliest Spring 2019 Favorites

Although monthly/seasonal favorites fell off the radar in the beauty community on YouTube, I still want to incorporate a “favorites” style post on my blog. Simply put, this allows me to talk about things I’m loving (beyond just cosmetics) in a snackable way. Keep reading for the loveliest Spring 2019 favorites.

The Loveliest in Beauty

Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micellar Water

After months of using mainly cream and balm cleansers to remove my makeup, I forgot how refreshed my skin could feel using a micellar water cleanser. The Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micellar Water works wonders at removing my makeup without stripping my skin or leaving it feeling greasy.

Cover FX Monochromatic Blush Duos

I picked up quite a few of the Cover FX Monochromatic Blush Duos* during the Sephora VIB sale in April. So far I’ve been impressed by how these wear. Each duo is pigmented, buildable, and easy to blend on the cheeks. Plus, I love how these blushes are formulated without talc. Read my in-depth Cover FX Monochromatic Blush Duo Review.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb

I was beginning to feel like the only millennial American who hadn’t tried Fenty. DAMN this the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb formula was worth the wait. I own the shades Fenty Glow* and Fu$$y.*

Both shades make my lips appear plump and juicy. From a formula standpoint, these glosses last on the lips for hours without leaving my lips feeling or looking cracked. See where these landed in my ultimate lip gloss ranking.

MAC x Disney’s Aladdin Prince Jasmine Eyeshadow Palette

I already have a dedicated review on this little palette, but this is a beautiful 9-pan neutral eyeshadow palette that I’ve been reaching for so often. I love reaching for this for effortless day and glam looks.

The Loveliest in Fashion & Lifestyle

Felix Gray Hopper Eyeglasses in Seneca Mist

As a blogger, graduate student, and digital marketer, I spend an unreal amount of time staring at screens. Unfortunately for me, the blue light emitted from my digital devices can cause headaches, dry eyes, blurred vision (and can contribute to long-term, degenerative eye diseases).

After receiving some good news regarding a marketing research position I applied to this past Spring, I decided to pick up a pair of Felix Gray Eyeglasses. Overall, I’m obsessed. I love how these glasses look. Also, they really do a great job of mitigating the harmful effects of blue light.

HydraPeak Wide-Mouth Water Bottle

OMG. After years of searching for the perfect water bottle, I’ve finally found it! The HydraPeak Wide-Mouth Stainless Steel Water Bottle keeps my water ice cold all day… without sweating all over the place. Moreover, I can easily add ice to keep my water even colder due to the wide-mouth of the bottle!!! I’ve been staying way more hydrated because of this bottle!

The Loveliest in Entertainment

Whitney Hendricks

Whitney Hendricks quickly became one of my favorite Beauty YouTubers. Her talent with makeup and her honesty standout. Throughout her videos, she speaks to the unhealthy habits that are fostered in the online beauty community. Additionally, she provides her insight as a consumer, an influencer, and a practicing makeup artist.

Friends

I won’t lie – I hated Friends when I was younger. In fact, I never saw the appeal of the show. However, after finishing The Office (American version) this year I needed to fill the void. As a twenty-something adult, I find myself relating better to the characters and the humor in the show than I did when I was younger.

Side note: I am currently on YouTube and Netflix fast. Therefore, these will likely be the only video content I include in my roundup until the Fall.

P.S. I Still Love You & Always and Forever, Lara Jean

To All the Boys I Loved Before was one of my favorite books (and films) of 2018. I gobbled up the sweet, albeit predictable, teen rom-com love story. The follow-up stories chronicling Lara Jean Covey’s relationship with Peter were light, fluffy reads that I gobbled up!

Ed Sheeran x Chance the Rapper – Cross Me

I wasn’t too impressed by Ed Sheeran’s collaboration with Justin Bieber, I Don’t Care. However, I was immediately hooked as soon as I heard Cross Me. To be fair, I tend to love most songs that feature Chance the Rapper. This song always has me dancing in my car.
