The Loveliest in Beauty
Benefit BADgal Bang Mascara
Benefit’s BADgal Bang Mascara* has quickly become one of my favorite mascaras. This mascara makes my lashes look blacker, more voluminous, longer and lifted.
Benefit’s BADgal Bang is the closest you can get to falsies without actually committing to wearing false lashes.

e.l.f. Truffles & Rose Water Bite Size Palettes
e.l.f. Bite Size Palettes
I was stunned by e.l.f.’s Bite Size Palettes. How can $3.00 palettes be this good? These tiny eyeshadow quads include highly pigmented and creamy shadows that are beginner-friendly.

NABLA Dreamy 2 Palette
NABLA Dreamy 2 Palette
Earlier this winter, I reviewed the NABLA Dreamy 2 Palette. Holy moly. I was blown away by NABLA’s eyeshadow formula. The mix of textures and colors will work for fans of neutrals and bold colors, alike.

The Loveliest in Entertainment
YouTube on 1.5x Speed
I realize that this might sound a little crazy, but I’ve been loving playing YouTube on 1.5x speed. By watching or listening to content at this pace, make the most of my time while still allowing myself to enjoy work from my favorite creators
Netflix Reality Shows (Love is Blind & the Circle)
Somehow Netflix’s Love is Blind managed to hook me. Love is Blind is like the love child of MTV’s Are You the One?, ABC’s The Bachelor, and Netflix’s The Circle. This reality show is the perfect mix of sweetness, drama, and cringe.
Unlike Love is Blind, I only watched The Circle after a recommendation from one of my best friends. The premise of this show is essentially an online popularity contest that follows aspiring influencers who must win each other over to win money. For all of the cringe-worthy moments on this show, I felt drawn to some of the participants who showed growth and heart.
The Shawshank Redemption
I don’t know how I’ve lived this long without seeing The Shawshank Redemption. This movie is a masterpiece for good reason. The acting is superb and the storyline grips you and pulls at your heart. While watching this film, I felt intense moments of sadness for some of the characters and the trauma inflicted upon them.
Disney Pixar’s Coco
Was I sleeping when Coco was released? Coco is easily one of Pixar’s best releases of the last decade. I loved the way Coco explored Mexican culture, infused musical moments, and heartwarming themes. By the end of this film, I was sobbing.
The Loveliest in Music
Demi Lovato | I Love Me
As someone who has loved Demi Lovato since I was a teen, I’ve seen her in concert 3 different times. Needless to say, I am ~STOKED~ for her comeback. The message of I Love Me feels so authentic to her journey dealing with addiction and body confidence.
RosalÃa | El Mal Querer
After her incredible Grammy performance this year, I started listening to more of Spanish flamenco-pop star, RosalÃa’s album, El Mal Querer. This concept album is a unique blend of pop, trap, and flamenco music. The album is heavily inspired by the 13th-Century Occitan novel, Flamenca, so each song and video tells a story that follows a rocky relationship from the beginning to its demise.
Justin Bieber | Intentions
As a whole, I wasn’t impressed by Justin Bieber’s latest album. However, I am low key obsessed with Intentions. This song feels simultaneously fun and sweet.

Love this post, LP! You make me want to watch Love is Blind! Love your music choices too. I do an on demand dance class and they have such a fun one for Intentions.
ooo I can imagine that would be so fun – I need to look into what virtual classes or exercise sessions I can be doing while stuck at home!
You finally jump on the bandwagon, Coco is so good, they play so much effort in the songs, the characters
I was sooooo blown away!!! I haven’t cried that much at a Disney Pixar movie in so long. Of the recent Disney/Pixar releases, Coco is definitely one of my favorites now (along with Moana)!!
I love that it still has a sweet ending but so many plot twists that I didn’t predict.
I’ve got to try that mascara! I hope it can lift my dead ass straight lashes! AND OMG ME TOO! HAHAHA Speeding up videos make it so much easier to digest somehow? I think it might because I’m super inpatient? I hate disney films cause they always make me waaaay too emotional, the pixar effect. I’ve been loving Dua Lipa’s music lately, easy to groove and just downright catchy!
I need to give Dua more of a try – I tend to like a few songs I hear from her, but I’ve never listed to one of her entire albums.
Spending up videos is like the new normal for me. Being from the Northeast US, I tend to talk very quickly… so sometimes YouTubers talk to slowly and I def become impatient lol!
I’ve actually given her latest album a shot and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed by how cohesive it sounded and all of it is just GREAT. SAME i talk like a bullet train and sometimes i even “trip” over my own words HAHA! Where are you from?
lol I’m from Boston – in the US, the Northeast is known for talking quickly haha
Ahh Massachusetts okay! I see!
I need to watch Coco again, I don’t love it love it, but it made me bowl my eyes out, I’m making my mom watch some of the newest Disney releases and Coco is the next on the list. We just saw Moana the other day and she loved it.
I wasn’t expecting to love Coco as much as I did – I cried so hard. And yes….. I LOVE Moana – its def one of my favorites from Disney in the last decade. That movie made me cry as well — I’m sure you can guess which scene lol!
Yep same, but I’m a crier, I legit cry when I watch Sleeping Beauty, when they dance at the end 😂
lol girl – same!!! I cry whether something is happy or sad… sometimes even just emotional music will get me.
However, some things make me bawl lol
Have you seen the music special thing Lady Gaga did the other day? Well when she started singing I was SOBBING, the piano, their voices were too much to handle 😂
lol I didn’t see it …. don’t kill me but **I’m not a fan of Lady Gaga.** I did LOVE the Ariana Grande performance she did during the Disney at-home sing-a-long lol but it didn’t make me cry ahaha
I don’t think we can be friend anymore 😂 I didn’t see Ariana’s
lololol whoops! XD
FYI: my mom and I watched Coco today and I couldn’t keep the sobs in. I usually get better over time and I don’t cry after a few times. Today was the third time I’ve seen it and it was bad. The ending is so so emotional. Not even sad just so full of emotions
omg I’ve been having trouble with my comments lately, so I saw this and then it disappeared. And yes – its like happy crying / partially sad crying thinking about my own grandma. Coco’s story writers and animators really outdid themselves with that closing!!
I love ELF’s palettes they are such good quality for the price!
elf really kills it – the fact that these quads are so dope for only $3 is incredible!!
The Circle and Love is Blind have been on my list to watch for sooo long now and I swear its all I hear people talking about right now! Also big yes to you watching The Shawshank Redemption for the first time, I swear that’s the greatest movie of all time you just can’t fault it!!
They are such a guilty pleasure shows – but right now I’m working my way through Narcos and Breaking Bad and I’m OBSESSED with both lol!
I really want to watch Love Is Blind, and I need to watch Coco too! I’ve never tried watching YouTube videos at 1.5x the speed, but I’m going to try it haha.
lol I feel like now I think regular speed is too slow. And omg Coco will literally have you crying!! So good!
Ooo, I need to get my hands on that Benefit mascara & those elf quads actually look so lovely.
I am a sucker for reality TV & have watched both The Circle & Love is Blind. 🤣 Both were so much fun! Coco was amazing, I definitely sobbed too. Have you watched Moana yet?! ♡
I am so jealous you’ve seen Demi THREE times, she’s incredible. I love I Love Me, it made me cry, thinking of her journey! & man, I will always love the Biebs. Intentions has still been on replay for me. 🤣
OMG Moana is in my top 10 fave Disney movies – I legit still cry every time I watch it!!! Also, Demi is so so talented – def worth seeing when all of this craziness subsides!!
