If you like beauty and you like drama... then this Beautycon NYC 2019 Recap is 100% for you! This year's event was full of awesome moments, but unfortunately, the overall experience didn't live up to the hype that was promised online. Brand Experiences I can't lie, I'm still salty that many of the major American [...]
If you follow me on Twitter, then you may have seen that there was drama surrounding this year's Hauler bag at Beautycon NYC 2019. To summarize everything in the simplest terms possible, people were highly disappointed at this year's Hauler Bag (Freebie bag) because (1) the bag had barely any product in it when compared to previous years and (2) many of us actually received bags that were only half-full. Although Beautycon tried to rectify the latter issue, I still did not receive everything that my friend did and others were so disappointed that they didn't come back to swap out their bag. Nevertheless, between the hauler bag, the free samples from exhibiting brands, and the purchases I made at the event, I actually came home with a ton of products! If you're like me, then please keep reading.
As a beauty blogger and lover, I'm constantly trying out new cosmetic, skincare and hair care products. However, over the past 2-3 years, I've been attempting to reign in my shopping and work through what I own through a comprehensive inventory system, periodic No-Buys, and yearlong Project Pans. The below products are beauty items that I am happy to have finished over the past 3 months. Although the total number of products finished is not greater than the number of new items that entered my collection, I still view this finished products as a small victory. Please keep reading to see what I used up!
This year, I accumulated an insane amount of haircare (for me) due to generous gifts from family and friends, as well as due to holdouts from my Sephora Play! subscription days. This year, I am making a pointed effort to work through or donate much of my haircare collection. As of June 30th, I've finished 17 products, however, since I've already discussed some of these products in a previous post, I am only going to review the "new" items here.
