Juvia’s Place The Warrior Palette Review

Juvia's Place Warrior Palette Review | Packaging

Juvia’s Place golden and bronze, The Warrior Eyeshadow Palette, is a beloved palette that is frequently sold out at retailers across the globe, but is this affordable, neutral eyeshadow palette really worth all the hype Please keep reading for an in-depth review of the The Warrior Palette.

What is Juvia’s Place about?

As a brand, Juvia’s Place aims to provide beauty enthusiasts perfectly balanced, rich, luscious colors that can be worn every day or for a night out. The brand creates products that are affordable and accessible.

The Warrior Eyeshadow Palette Claims

Before jumping into the Juvia’s Place Eyeshadow Palette Review, let’s examine the claims from the brand.

Juvia’s Place describes the Warrior Eyeshadow Palette as an edgy spin on the Nubian Palette. This palette is meant for bronzed goddesses.

The colors in this 9-pan palette are inspired by rich, earthy tones, as well as beautiful golds and bronze colors. The Warrior palette provides a golden glow that makes the eyes pop! Juvia’s Place claims these shadows will have long-lasting staying power on the eye.

Packaging & Price

As with all Juvia’s Place Eyeshadow Palettes, The Warrior Eyeshadow Palette comes in sturdy, cardboard packaging without a mirror. Intricate illustrations depicting glowing Nubian beauties decorate the cover of the palette.

Also, the Warrior Palette retails for $20.00, which is in-line with the brand’s other eyeshadow palette prices. However, the palette is frequently included in sales on the brand’s website.

Ingredients & Cruelty-Free Status

Like most popular eyeshadow formulas, Talc and Mica are the top ingredients in Juvia’s Place eyeshadow formula for the Warrior II Palette.

Juvia’s Place is 100% Cruelty-Free and many of the brand’s products are Vegan, too. In fact, of the brand’s famous eyeshadow palettes, only the Warrior Palette is NOT Vegan. To read more about Juvia’s Place Cruelty-Free Status and Vegan products click here.

The Warrior Palette Swatches

As always, swatches are not a perfect indicator of quality. However, they can provide clues to how a shadow performs in terms of pigmentation and the ability to blend. Please see the below finger swatches of The Warrior Palette on a bare arm.

Juvia’s Place The Warrior Palette Finger Swatches

If it isn’t apparent from the swatches, the shadows in the Warrior Palette are pigmented, high-impact colors. However, the colors in the palette look very similar to one another when swatched.

Also, from a formula standpoint, there are three finishes: matte, metallic, and shimmer. Each of the formulas is consistently good.

Matte Shadows

Metallic Shadows

Shimmer Shadows

Application & Wear-Time

All of the shadows within the Warrior Palette perform exceptionally on the eyes. The shades apply ease. The mattes, metallics, and shimmers feel buttery. The pigmentation of the shadows is out of this world. For the most impact, the metallics should be applied with a finger or a flat brush.

Despite all the above praise, there are two major cons with this palette. First, there are not enough matte shadows. I wish there was at least one more mid-tone brown or copper matte shadow to deepen up looks. Second, the color story of this palette is limited. Many of the colors look similar applied to the eye. Another deep shade would add more range to the palette.

The shadows in the Warrior Palette last on my oily lids all day when worn over a primer. I don’t experience any creasing, fading, or smudging when paired with a good base. Also, I do not notice any fallout.

Where can you buy The Warrior Palette?

Please note, when converting the UK pricing back to US dollars, the Juvia’s Place palettes are more expensive in the UK. Also, Juvia’s Place frequently runs sales. Also, discount codes can be used on the brand’s products. My suggestion is to wait until a sale period to purchase from the brand.

Final Review of the Juvia’s Place Warrior Palette

Although I love the Warrior Eyeshadow Palette, I do not reach for this palette as much as I reach for my Nubian Eyeshadow Palette. Simply put, this golden-neutral color story is similar to other neutral eyeshadow palettes in my collection

My biggest complaint with this palette is that some of the metallics in the Warrior Palette look quite similar to the eye. More specifically, I wish that a few of the mid-tone brown and copper shades were swapped out for a deeper tone.

However, my overall review of the Juvia’s Place Warrior Palette is positive. I wholeheartedly recommend this palette to anyone looking for a stunning, golden palette.

In conclusion, the Juvia’s Place Warrior Palette* is a super affordable, high-quality neutral eyeshadow palette that is a wonderful addition to any beauty lover’s collection. Finally, this is a great addition to any beauty lovers with small collections due to the sheer volume of product included. Buyers with small collections will get their money’s worth.
