But seriously though - lip oils are such under-appreciated products. They provide the shine of a gloss, but the comfort of a balm.

I love the Mint version of this classic Clarins product because it makes my teeth look a little whiter.

Do you guys like mint? I hate it in food (except mint-flavored, non-chocolate candy). However, I love it in beauty products lol.

Side note: I’m slowly but surely bringing color back to my feed. After trying to keep a seasonal aesthetic “palette,” I discovered that in trying to “edit” myself didn’t feel genuine to me.

Normally, I love the Winter and everything it brings:

☕️ Hot Chocolate & Ice Skating ⛸

But with little snow, no fun festivities, and the cold air making outdoor time a little more difficult, I’m officially ready for warmer weather.

Another “nothing new” photo for today. I’m really proud of how I’ve been handling my beauty No Buy this year. 😊 I feel less overwhelmed without the burden of shopping right now. (Side note: one of my favorite creators *literally* announced her Limited Edition collab today, so I may make this one exception to my No Buy and purchase with a gift card that I received for Christmas.)

P.S. These flower pan designs from the Garden Variety collection get me every time I look at them. 🌸 🌺

Another look using the @Menageriecosmetics Killer Purr Palette. 🦁 🐾

Unlike the previous look I shared, this warm-toned look uses both metallic shades in the palette.

I loved this soft, shimmery look. (LOL, this is a “soft” look for me - not sure if this qualifies as soft for all! 😂). And NGL I felt even better about this look when I received compliments at the Dunkin Donut’s Drive-Thru! 🤩

After years of doing my own rolling project pans, I’ve finally decided to participate in a community project pan! #partnersincream of my favorite projects to keep up with last year. This is a project created by Steph Lyons @stephbeauty92 and DaLin @panpanpannomatterwat.

Within Partners in Cream, participants work on 3-6 cream and liquid products in their collections through this yearlong rolling Project Pan. Rules for this year’s #PartnersinCream2021 project:

When it comes to makeup, eyeshadow is my biggest weakness. 🙈

And there are certain brands like @hudabeautyshop that just continuously catch my attention. When the Nude Obsessions Palettes came out at the end of 2019, I lusted after these babies for so so long before I finally purchased them in 2020.

And I absolutely love these 3 skin tone inspired palettes due to the range in depth and undertones. Like many of Huda’s more recent palettes, these palettes have a ton of pinky, burgundy hues - but I’m not mad about it.

Side note: isn’t it crazy how fast the beauty long cycle has gotten? These came out during October 2019, but it feels like it’s been way longer. 🤦🏻‍♀️
