Natasha Denona Camel Palette Claims
According to Natasha Denona, the Camel Palette is a multi-use, must-have palette that contains the most ”essential’ camel toned shades. Although this quintet only contains 5 pans, each pan contains a lot of shadow. More specifically 2.5g per pan. Also, despite only containing 5 shades, there are 3 unique formulas in this palette. This includes Creamy Matte, Sheer, and Metallic shadows.
Additionally, according to Natasha Denona these shadows promise to melt together in perfect harmony. In other words, these shadows should perform well together to create every day looks to stunning, evening glam.

Packaging & Price
Like all of Natasha Denona’s 5-pan palettes, the Camel Palette comes in sleek plastic packaging with minimalist design elements. Moreover, each shadow is removable. In fact, this is an element of all of Natasha Denona’s Palettes. Therefore, it is possible to remove shadows from one palette and pop them into another.
Finally, the Natasha Denona Camel Palette* retails for $48.00. More specifically, this breaks down to $3.84 per gram.

This palette is Paraben-Free and made in Italy.
Cruelty-Free & Vegan Status
According to Cruelty-Free Kitty, Natasha Denona is 100% Cruelty-Free. Although the brand is Cruelty-Free, Natasha Denona not all of her products are Vegan. Unfortunately, the Camel Palette is NOT Vegan because it contains Carmine.
Natasha Denona Camel Palette Swatches
The below Camel Palette swatches were done using my finger on a bare arm without primer. Each swatch represents more than one swipe of color.
P.S. I realize that my skin looks textured in the below photo – I did a lot of back-to-back palette swatching the night these swatches were done. The texture is not a reflection of the shadows, but of my irritated skin.

Although these colors are very neutral, the camel undertone is intriguing. However, I wish the shades Safari and Zand looked more differentiated.
How to Apply
Use a large fluffy brush to blend the matte shadows into the crease or to create a diffused eye look. For a more pigmented look, use a dense shader brush to stamp shadow on the lid or onto the outer corner of the eye lids
Unfortunately, the metallic shades in this palette are not easy to apply on the eyelids. Both Arrosto and Copper Sand are prone to hardpan – as seen in the flat lays throughout this post. In fact, Copper Stone developed hardpan after only one use on the lids. As a result, pigmentation looked non-existent.
Although it is easy to remove hardpan from eyeshadow, I am not pleased that such expensive shadows behave so poorly. Moreover, given that these metallic shades apply best using a finger, the hardpan comes back over time.
Wear-Time
The Natasha Denona Camel palette did not fade, crease, or transfer when worn over an eyeshadow primer. Shadows lasted 10+ hours on my eyelids without any issues. This is a major improvement from my experience with the Natasha Denona Mini Lila Palette

Is the Natasha Denona Camel Palette Worth the Price?
Overall, the color story of the Camel Palette is a unique twist on the average neutral palette in an ultra-curated palette. However, this palette is worth $48.00. The quality does not align with the price tag.
My biggest issue with this palette is that Arrosto & Copper Stone are prone to hardpan. In fact, I need to remove hardpan from these two shades every time I go to use them.
Additionally, Copper Stone is difficult to build on the eyelids. This shadow lacks impact, regardless of how it is applied on the lids. However, if you prefer a sheer formula this may be for you!
