This balm contain watermelon extract, coconut flower sugar, and flower-serviced AHAs to soothe, soften, and hydrate the lips. 🍉 🥥 🌸

Although this balm promises to provide gentle exfoliation, I don’t notice any exfoliating effects or grittiness in the texture. However, my lips do feel nourished after application.

The balm produces a sheer pink tint on the lips. 👄 Also, scent-wise, the Lip Pop is the reincarnation of the Lip Smackers Watermelon Lip Balm. 💋

As many of you guys know, I’m currently one week into my 30-day beauty #nobuy. After a year of failing at low buys, I was beginning to doubt my own self-control.

However, I’m SUPER proud to say that it’s been one full week without any makeup purchases. 🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️ In fact, it’s been a week without any purchases at all! 🤯

Aside from saving money, my intent with this No Buy was to prove to myself that I had the strength to do it. 💪🏻 But also to show love to the products I already own.

Hi friends! 💜 It’s so secret that 2020 has been tough on us all, but this last week I was pushed to my limit after losing a beloved pet. 🐶 💔 So, I took some much needed time to myself.

Please know that if it seems like I’ve been ghosting you - it hasn’t been intentional. At points this summer, it’s been a struggle to put on a happy front or to remember dates / deadlines.

During this week’s dip, I found myself staring around my room at all my makeup items. 💄 🛍 Some products purchased during a low period, while some products were purchased during happier times. But it really hit me. ✋ I need to make a change. Shopping shouldn’t be my coping mechanism.

This morning, I spent some time praying. 🙏🏻 Ultimately, I’ve decided that I am going to go on a strict 30-day #nobuy so that I can love the things I already own and have money to spend on experiences that will bring greater joy. 🌈
